Montgomery County High School officers visited Sanford Stadium between informative leadership seminars at FLC.
Month: November 2015
Hardaway High School’s FBLA Chapter welcomed Mr. Frank Myers as a guest at our November meeting. Mr. Myers is a member of the Muscogee County School Board representing District 8 which includes Hardaway High School. At the meeting, he presented certificates to our BAA recipients.
Jonesboro High School’s FBLA Chapter completed its 1st Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. Its members created homemade banners that were placed in the hallway of the CTAE building. In addition, the students created a banner for others to show their support by signing the particular banner. Also, FBLA members passed out pink ribbon stickers and wore pink for awareness. This awareness project was a great success that brought the community together and proved that awareness projects are needed at our school.

The Hardaway High School chapter sponsored a community service project during the month of October. Below is a copy of the Open Door Community Facebook Page.
“Look what Sydney , president of the Future Business Leaders of America at Hardaway High School, brought today! The Hardaway student body went trick-or-treating for tolietries. These items will benefit so many clients who live in poverty or are experiencing homelessness. We are grateful.”
The Hawks came through and brought in an overwhelming amount of products for us to deliver. Chapter members spent days sorting through all that was brought in and boxed up for delivery.
October was another month where it is great to be a Hardaway Hawk!
On Nov.4-5, Northview FBLA attended the GA FBLA Fall Leadership Conference in Athens, GA. Chapter members got the chance to listen to guest speaker Jeff Jones, attend leadership workshops, and network with members from other chapters. From building their characters at the workshops to learning life lessons from the keynote speakers, Northview FBLA students thoroughly enjoyed their experiences at FLC and cannot wait to pursue their interests in business at the conference next year.
