Middle-Level Competitive Events

The Georgia FBLA Middle level division is open to students in grades 5-8. Modeled much like the high school division, the middle level division has a prestigious competitive events program. Members will begin their competitive event journey at our Region Leadership Conferences with over 34 events to compete in. I highly encourage members to begin studying prior to region to increase their chances of placing. Members who advance from region will then be eligible to compete at the 2016 ML State Leadership Conference. Members who place amongst the highest of their peers will be recognized at the awards of excellence ceremony. Study hard and maybe  you will make it on stage and be recognized as one of the best in the state of Georgia!

Special Days of FBLA Week

Hello Georgia FBLA! FBLA Week is almost here. In order to have a successful celebration there are some things you need to know in order to prepare. The dates of FBLA Week are February 7, 2016-February 13, 2016. As a local chapter it should be a goal to have each and every member fully participate. Every day has a specific theme except Monday.

For Monday, as a chapter, you can make up your own theme. For the next five days there are scheduled activities.

On Tuesday we will celebrate national FBLA Each One Reach One Day.

On Wednesday National FBLA Adviser Appreciation Day and Professional Dress Day will take precedent.

On Thursday we will celebrate National FBLA Career Awareness Day.

On Friday you will end the school week with National FBLA Spirit Day.

On Saturday you and your chapter will bring FBLA Week to a close with National FBLA Community Service Day. We ask that each chapter participate on every day, if possible, in support of our great organization!

Running for Region Office

Running for a Georgia FBLA Region Officer position can be the start to a thriving career in FBLA. Region officers not only serve their respective regions, they serve as ambassadors for our entire organization. While serving as a region officer you will develop skills pertaining to public speaking, networking, presenting workshops, proper dining etiquette, and so much more! Serving as a 2014 – 2015 region officer was one of the best times in my FBLA career. I met so many people who are still my very close friends today. As a region officer you will be required to attend ALL Georgia FBLA conferences and lead your Region Leadership Conference. You should also have the Future Level of the business achievement awards or higher completed before you submit your application. Applications will be submitted online this year. To access this application, ask your local chapter adviser to check the Georgia FBLA Livebinder. The final deadline to submit your region officer application December 4th! Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity! I look forward to seeing our newly appointed region officers at the 2016 State Leadership Conference!

The 12th annual Middle Level State Leadership Conference will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry. From my own personal experience, the Middle Level State Leadership Conference has been one of my favorite conferences. This conference provides members with the opportunity to compete and network with some of the best and brightest middle level members our state has to offer.  The middle level offers over 30 events including Marketing Concepts, Business Spelling, Keyboarding Applications and many more! Advisers, members wishing to compete at the Middle Level State Leadership Conference should be registered by January 26th.
