Held on November 15th each year, American Enterprise Day is a celebration of the American free enterprise system and the economic freedoms it affords individuals and businesses in the United States. Chapters celebrate the day through projects and activities that teach students about our free enterprise system and pay tribute to its value.
A few ways your chapter can get involved on American Enterprise Day include…
- Conduct a competition for essays written about the American free enterprise system
- Create a Monopoly® board featuring different economic systems and hold a tournament during a chapter meeting or economics class
- Offer mock interviews and resume-writing workshops for fellow students
- Invite a local business owner to speak at a chapter meeting.
