Congratulations to all Georgia FBLA members who have completed the Future, Business, and Leader Levels of the BAA program! The America Level is the toughest and most strenuous of all of the BAA levels, but if you practice time management and complete each activity in a timely manner, you will surely tackle this formidable obstacle!
A great way to get ahead in completing your America level is by completing Activity 18 in the Education category. Because you have had experience with managing a chapter and being an active member of FBLA, you already have all the tools you need to go out and promote FBLA within your school! For example, you have experience promoting FBLA through exhibits, flyers, posters, bulletin boards, and school-wide announcements. You also have experience talking to new members about the benefits of FBLA and what FBLA is all about! With all of this experience, you can now go out and recruit new members by Sharing your Story and showing them that FBLA is not all about teenagers in navy blue suits!
By recruiting a minimum of 10 new members, you can successfully complete your first activity on your America Level! Through conversation, presentations, videos, and even pictures, you can appeal to the entire school and recruit many of your classmates and peers. This activity is harder to complete later on in the school year, so you should definitely start early on in the year.
In order to get one step closer to finishing the final level of the BAAs, contact your local chapter adviser today to receive your individual login information. All BAAs must be submitted by the national deadline, March 1, 2016.
