Bleckley County High School Future Business Leaders of America officers attended Summer Leadership Officer Training Summit (SLOTS) in Cordele and Cummings Georgia in July. SLOTS is a time for officers to work together to plan for the coming year pinpointing goals, advancements, expansions, recruitment and the like. These young ladies worked together to identify areas of service, education, leadership and progress that they wanted to focus on in the coming year.
This group of ladies works amazingly well with one another and we are super excited for the year to come. Co-President Olivia W., Vice-President Amanda K., Secretary Sophie K., Treasurer Alexis B., and Reporter Cassidy S. all attended the SLOTS in Cordele, Georgia on Tuesday and Co-President Maisi C. attended SLOTS in Cummings, Georgia. This group of officers has a lot planned for the coming year and all BCHS students who are interested in the world of Business or finding their place in an organization are welcome to visit us at visitation. We will be set up in the Commons area. You do NOT have to be in the Business Pathway courses to be a member. Come join us for the many adventures planned for the coming year!

FBLA is an integral part of the Business program and pathway at Bleckley County High School. We are hoping to grow our membership greatly this year. There are many opportunities for students to find their talents and gifts and use them for the betterment of their future and career plans. Students have the opportunity to go to a variety of Leadership Conferences and competitions throughout the year. As students move beyond state and head to national level competition they have opportunities to travel, meet people from around the world, network with a variety of fellow students, and take their competitive spirits to a whole new level!
