Bowdon High School FBLA Visit the Chick-fil-A Headquarters

Bowdon High school attended the Chick-fil-A headquarters on November 1, 2016. Upon arrival, they began a backstage tour of the Chick-fil-A office and learned the history. While learning the history of the corporation they learned about the business skills that S. Truett Cathy used when creating a thriving business. The students were able to visit the original office of S. Truett and sit behind his desk that he resided in every day. Students learned some key principles that Cathy tried to enforce and to leave a final legacy. S. Truett Cathy learned at a young age what it would take to keep a striving business…“One of the most meaningful truisms I have learned about leadership is that it’s all about action.” Once the tour was complete the students visited the original Dwarf (Grill) House and were able to see the original Chick-fil-A, where the story began.
