Cook High FBLA is in Recruitment Mode

Cook High FBLA officers gave out club information and spoke with freshmen during the Freshmen Orientation on August 1. Officers and advisers then planned an open meeting for Wednesday, August 21. A QR code was generated and placed on flyers around the school so students could sign up for the meeting in advance. In addition to the flyers, announcements were placed in the Daily Bulletin. As an alternative to the QR code signup, officers and advisers had signup sheets and passes. Our officers also gave out club newsletters at the school’s Open House on Tuesday, August 13. As a result of the recruitment planning, we had 46 potential members at our first open meeting. We are excited to begin our new year and look forward to attending conferences, participating in competitions, and earning service hours.
