Competitive events play an integral role in the mission of FBLA. They prepare students for successful careers in business by providing opportunities to apply classroom concepts in a workforce‐simulated competitive environment. Members compete to demonstrate career competencies, business knowledge, and job skills as well as expand leadership skills, display competitive spirit, receive recognition for achievement, travel, and network.
In FBLA-Middle Level, members have a variety of chapter events and individual and team events to choose from.
Chapter events include the American Enterprise Project, Community Service Project, and Local Chapter Activities Report. Individual and team events include Career Exploration, Computer Slide Show Presentation, Desktop Publishing Application, Introduction to Business Communication, Keyboarding Applications I and II, and Webpage Creation.
