November is here! Since Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, it is a good idea to have a Thanksgiving-related social event. A fun activity that your chapter can do is to host a Thanksgiving-related food decorating contest!
For example, your chapter can decorate pretzels to make them look like a turkey. With the help of candy corns, frosting, and chocolate, your members can create some pretty delicious treats! In addition, it is also a good idea to celebrate the season by decorating other treats such as cupcakes, cookies, and brownies.
Getting your chapter together for a fun social is a great way to spark engagement in your chapter. It doesn’t take much for the members in your local chapter to relax and enjoy the holiday season together. Hosting an enjoyable social event can increase the overall motivation in your chapter––giving your members more excitement to participate in other FBLA events such as conferences and competition.
