November is here! Since Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, it is a good idea to have a Thanksgiving-related social event. A fun activity that your chapter can do is to host a Thanksgiving-related scavenger hunt.
Consider using the free app “Actionbound” found in the App Store or Google play. This app allows a teacher or chapter officer to create questions, clues and a guide to help lead a team of students through the scavenger hunt on their phone. Come up with a prize for the winning team such as a free FBLA chapter t-shirts or candy.
Getting your chapter together for a fun social is a great way to spark engagement in your chapter. It doesn’t take much for the members in your local chapter to relax and enjoy the holiday season together. Hosting an enjoyable social event can increase the overall motivation in your chapter giving your members more excitement to participate in other FBLA events such as conferences and competition.
