I joined FBLA because I want to lead my own company one day. It seemed like the best place for me to learn and practice business skills, where I could also get more involved. In my time with the organization, FBLA has given me much more than simply business skills. While it has definitely given me countless opportunities to grow as a leader, the most beneficial aspects of FBLA have been more personal. I have made life-long connections, learned to be more outgoing, and become a better person.

My favorite FBLA moment was my first FLC. As my chapter approached Athens, I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I could feel the excitement growing. We got there and quickly headed to the opening session. When the lights dropped and the conference began, I could feel my heart racing. That was when I fell in love with FBLA. Over the next day, I saw the incredible impact of FBLA on myself, my friends, and the rest of Georgia FBLA. I have continued to fall in love with FBLA more and more ever since.
