Sonoraville Helps Assist with NWGA Regional Seniors Morning Out!

On September 14, business students from Sonoraville High School and in FBLA attended the Senior Morning Out at the Northwest Georgia Regional Fairgrounds. Even though the event was rescheduled due to weather issues, the students did not let that change their willingness to participate and make a difference. The students were responsible for passing out prizes for the elderly who won bingo games. Chick-fil-A teamed up with Gordon Hospital by providing catered lunches, and the business students assisted in passing out food, drinks, and napkins to all the elderly in attendance. This experience was great for the youth of Sonoraville High and the sometimes forgotten elderly. It showed that great things and fun can happen when people come together for a great event regardless of the unfavorable weather!
