Sonoraville High FBLA Attends Motivational Rally

Nineteen Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members of Sonoraville High School traveled to the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Georgia on October 13, 2016 to attend a motivational rally and leadership conference with over 9,000 additional FBLA members from across the State of Georgia. Region and state officers were recognized at the beginning of Rally. SHS student John G. was in the Parade of Region Officers recognized for his position as Region 8 Vice President.  FBLA members also had the opportunity to listen to keynote speaker Alex Sheen deliver a great message about the importance of keeping a promise.

 

The chapter entered their club t-shirt into the design competition. In addition, the chapter entered a poster contest for the TREY Project to bring awareness to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Individual members and teams also completed tests in business related subjects in preparation for the region and state competitions. Results will be announced in November in Athens, Georgia at the Fall Leadership Conference. At the conclusion of Rally in Perry, FBLA members enjoyed the fair festivities and the fair food.
