South Forsyth High School’s 2016-2017 Summer Planning Session

South Forsyth’s FBLA chapter leaders and senior officers came together to plan for the upcoming year. The planning session took place on July 15th, 2016. The session started off with an icebreaker that involved describing what FBLA meant to the members. Following that, the leaders were asked to do a “speed dating” type of game where they were to answer the question, “Why should I join FBLA?”. The session formally began when the members were handed out the Chapter Of The Year points sheet from the previous year and were asked to go over it and see where they could improve. Soon after, they were able to set new goals which included increasing the membership, maximizing the Chapter of the Year points, and instituting an effective way of communicating. To wrap up the session, the members talked about meeting schedules for the year and decided on a t-shirt design. Overall, the planning session was productive and successful.
