One of the community service projects Sonoraville High School’s FBLA chapter participated in this summer was volunteering at the community kitchen at the Voluntary Action Center (VAC). Students volunteered during four different times this past summer. Members and officers of our local SHS FBLA took time out of their summer mornings to volunteer. While volunteering, they participated in many different activities such as serving food and drinks, cleaning tables, sweeping and mopping the floor, and helping to prepare the food. This was a very eye-opening experience for students as they realized just how great it can feel when you are able to give back to your community.
