With all the changes this year, travel restrictions and no fair, our chapter officers wanted to reassure members that FBLA is still the FUN student organization its always been. The focus of October was to have our members “Fall” in love with a changed FBLA. We hosted a GooseChase scavenger Hunt where our young members were paired with upperclassmen and created tasks that allowed them to get to know each other, our school and our chapter. The Scavenger Hunt was a complete success and the pictures will be great additions to our End-of the-Year video.
The next “FALL” in love event was the pumpkin scene challenge. Again students were placed in small groups and spread out to create a fall scene complete with a painted pumpkin. The students had a total of 45 minutes to come up with the idea and execute the plan. All five teams did an amazing job. The displays stayed up the week of Halloween and all students were able to use the posted QR codes to vote for their favorite scene. The winning team was announced on October 30 and team members received a prize.
