October 1-Can Food Drive

Bleckley County FBLA began their annual food drive with the goal of collecting plenty of cans for the local food pantry. The idea was to have all of the cans in time for Thanksgiving, giving back to the people who need it the most. The winning class would receive a cupcake party during lunch on day, while the teacher would receive a gift card. This was to help encourage students to donate and to give back to the community. So far, the can collection has been a slow process, but the officers hope to have more by the deadline.

October 2-Monthly Meeting

The October meeting was a little bit different due to scheduling issues. However, the chapter pushed forward and problem solved to complete the mission. The chapter ended up having a fun meeting, even if only a few members attended. We painted pumpkins, had cookies, and talked about the upcoming CREW conference! Overall, the meeting was a blast!
