Bowdon Future Business Leaders of America go to the Sports Career Tour

The Bowdon High School FBLA learned many things when they went to the Sports Career Tour at Turner Field in Atlanta September 1, 2015. We kicked off the tour by having our tour guide take us to the top of Turner Stadium and while there she showed us all the great areas
that have been bought by companies for advertising, she also explained all to us how the stadium keeps the advertising with the different companies. While she spoke on all the great ways that the many different companies advertise their products and services, such as the Coca Cola bottles that show off Braves spirit during games and the Coca Cola t-shirts that have how many bottles it took to make a shirt on the sleeve. When we got done with the tour we ended it off going to the Baseball Museum of the Braves on the bottom floor of the stadium, and we got to see the entire Braves’ Museum and all show cases of the Braves’ best players. Not only did we get to go on the tour behind the scene, we also got to watch the game. Before the game began we watched the Braves’ interns that had been working at the stadium
during the summer, with the Braves, get their intern awards. A wonderful time was had by all!
