On August 9, members of the Loganville High FBLA chapter attended and assisted with an event at Southern Plantation Retirement Home. We helped put on a senior citizen’s Olympics where each of the residents could participate in fun games and win trophies for their efforts. Each attendee was paired with two residents of the retirement home and took them to play games at each of the event stations. The stations included: a Frisbee toss, horseshoes, corn hole, a ring toss, and croquet. After playing all of the games the senior citizens were treated to freshly picked watermelon and refreshing lemonade or ice water. After the residents ate, the trophies were handed out to the winners of each event.
