On November 15, 2017 members of Sonoraville Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) who attended Fall Leadership Conference toured the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business. At the Terry School of Business, members were lead on a guided tour by SHS FBLA alumni Stephanie Thomas and Terry Business student Brennan O’Dowd. The tour encompassed a visit to classrooms, which showcased the new technology utilized by the university. The FBLA members also got to look at the many newly constructed buildings at Terry. The tour was beneficial for the FBLA members because it introduced them to the pros and cons of attending a prestigious school of business. The tour guides highlighted how difficult it is to be accepted into a business school and what life as a Terry School of Business truly entails. The FBLA members learned how to prepare themselves for the competitiveness of getting into the top business schools, which will lead them to becoming some of the top business leaders.
