Appling County High took a record number of students to the 2016 FBLA Fall Motivational Rally on Thursday, October 13, 2016. Forty-two high school students joined thousands of other Georgia FBLA members at the Georgia National Fair in Perry, Georgia where it was FBLA’s ‘Time to Shine’. Members attended a motivational General Session where Alex Sheen, from the Because I Said I Would movement gave an uplifting speech about following through with what you say you will do. Members were encouraged to join the movement as a way to make our society a more humane place to live. After the general session, members were able to compete in various open testing events.
The day ended with students enjoying a fun-filled day at the fair!
