Sonoraville High School’s Business Students and members of their FBLA chapter completed the Journey through Justice at the State Bar of Georgia in Atlanta on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Students reviewed lessons on both civil and criminal law. The students then held a mock trial on a criminal lawsuit case where members of the group were able to role play and see how a real court case is handled. FBLA Officer Alex Pettit got firsthand experience in role playing as an attorney. After the mock trial, students were given the opportunity visit the Law Museum and look at the history of famous Georgia court cases.
