Bleckley County’s FBLA organization is extremely passionate about supporting the March of Dimes. In this past school year, BCHS FBLA Chapter 4622 raised over $1,000 dollars for the March of Dimes. While raising money for the organization is very important, raising awareness is even more significant to bringing premature birth numbers down as low as possible. The reason we raise money for this cause is to prevent premature birth and to help premature babies. This past school year our Adviser, Mrs. Melissa Barker, wrote a grant to assist us in making March of Dimes Awareness Week more fun and therefore more memorable. We are so excited to announce that we received a $500 grant from the March of Dimes to assist us in bringing awareness to Bleckley County High School. BCHS FBLA finds it to be an honor to contribute to such a phenomenal cause!
