Competition for the title of Chapter of the Year is stiff. To ensure your chapter is as competitive as possible, take advantage of all the “easy” points. Under Chapter Management, “developing a Chapter Program of Work” will earn your chapter 10 of the 60 maximum points for that category. Developing a Program of Work early on also allows your chapter to map out its activities for the rest of the year. When completing this activity, be sure to keep the Chapter Planning Guide handy so you can work in as many point-earning activities as possible for Chapter of the Year. In addition to being extremely helpful for planning the rest of the year, developing the Program of Work also falls under a category that is eligible for early submission points.
