Can you believe it? Time has flown by and next month 4,000 Georgia FBLA members and advisers will head to the State Leadership Conference in Atlanta! Since Region Leadership Conferences have passed, I suggest that this month, your chapter holds a post-RLC social!
This could consist of a variety of things. To begin with, your chapter may want to recognize all of the chapter members who competed, made it on stage, and advanced to SLC in competitive events! Taking the initiative to compete in RLC events is a huge accomplishment, and one that can lay the foundation for future intellectual pursuits. Next, socials are even greater with food! Chapter officers and advisers can bring snacks such as cookies, chips, and drinks for your members can enjoy.
This social activity is also a great time to give your chapter members an SLC preview. You can remind members of things such as what to wear, where to meet, and go over our Georgia FBLA conference policies with them. In addition, you can set up times for SLC practice sessions for online testing and performance events.
