Jenkins County Middle FBLA recently sponsored a Pink Out Day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Everyone in middle school was able to get out of their school uniforms and have a little more creative freedom by wearing pink for the entire day. FBLA members prepared treat bags containing candy, pink wristbands, and stickers to its members, the school administration, and support staff. The school entrance was decorated with pink balloons. FBLA was also able to provide facts about breast cancer awareness during school announcements. This event was an opportunity for the school to become aware of the disease and support its survivors.
