Taking part in Georgia FBLA’s 2021 – 2022 Feed Georgia campaign, Lambert FBLA held an amazing can collection drive over these past few months. The drive was held throughout most of the fall semester as members consistently brought cans into Mr. Ware’s room or directly donated to the cause. Lambert FBLA officers created graphics and social media posts to promote the drive. It was also promoted at chapter meetings throughout the fall semester.
Last year, Lambert FBLA held a Feed GA drive that was a huge success. During this fall drive, they were able to do it once again and donated around 1,800 canned food items from just the first semester! They were donated to Mr. Richard Cooke’s food pantry, Creekside Church Mission, after school on 12/20. After a few of our officers and Mr. Ware unloaded the food items, they were able to get a tour of the food pantry too and hear a little more about what exactly Mr. Cooke does. Lambert FBLA enjoyed this fundraiser and canned food drive as well as being able to address the needs of many throughout these unprecedented times.
