This month’s LEAD activity comes from the Bronze level. This month we will be focusing on Activity 3: Spread the Word from the category Leadership: Team Player.
This activity asks you to “Create a promotional piece to recruit local chapter members. Examples include a poster or bulletin board encouraging students to join your FBLA-ML chapter. Can be a team collaboration effort. (Post your masterpiece to a social media platform and use the hashtag #FBLAMiddleLevel).”
This activity gives you the space to be creative while providing you an opportunity making an impact. You can work with your chapter to design a bulletin board that uses a theme to show your peers exactly why they should join FBLA. Share your own experience by using pictures or highlighting events that were memorable for you. Create posters advertising special meetings or events to attract people to join and participate. Show off your chapter’s wins to build your reputation. Have fun with it!
Although this is an activity for you to check off for your award, take some time to really put your effort into this activity. Creating this promotional piece is a fun way to get involved and grow FBLA!
