FBLA members practiced for weeks learning the Hawaiian dance, the Hukilau, to perform at the Southern Plantation independent living Luau. A native Hawaiian resident at Southern Plantation taught the dance and meanings to the students. After the performance, students taught the other residents the Hukilau dance and practiced dancing with them. Then students mingled and talked with the residents. After the Luau, students helped clean the event room and get it back in order for the next day.
