If you are looking for another way to help raise money for and support the March of Dimes, then participating in the March for Babies Fundraising Walk the perfect way to do so. During the event known as March for Babies, over one million walkers in over 1,000 communities walk to raise money for the March of Dimes in the spring.
In order to have your chapter take part in the March for Babies, register at the March of Dimes March for Babies website. Use these following instructions to complete your registration:
- Pick FBLA, PBL, or FBLA-ML
- Find your chapter by using your state in the drop-down menu
- Select “join a new team” if your chapter is not listed making sure to title your team name with your school and and team type (FBLA, PBL, FBLA-ML)
- Print and complete the March of Dimes Fundraising Report Form
Furthermore, grant recipients and local and state chapters that raise the most money for the March of Dimes will be recognized at the National Leadership Conference. Members and their chapters also have the opportunity to have their pictures and articles about their March of Dimes activities published in Tomorrow’s Business Leader, PBL Business Leader, or on the national website (fbla-pbl.org).
