Our Chapter Officers divided and conquered last spring to help the March of Dimes, an organization designed to raise awareness about and help premature babies and their families . We attended the March of Dimes kick off to receive information about the program and to plan our goals for the year. We also attended the annual walk and helped set up the infrastructure. As usual, our goal was met and the walk was a success. The purpose of this community service project was to help raise money and support for the March of Dimes.
Kirby Lewis-Hobba, a representative for our region, came to share useful information about Prematurity Month and this year’s walk.
Our SHS FBLA Chapter believes in this mission and raises funds for the March of Dimes each year, building bridges from a present of opportunities to a future of success.
