Fifty members of the Metter High School Future Business Leaders of America chapter attended the Fall Motivational Rally at Six Flags Over Georgia. This is the first time that Georgia FBLA has hosted a fall rally at Six Flags, and the members loved this location. After a year of not having an in-person rally, local members enjoyed networking and interacting with other members from across the state.
Upon arrival at the park, the members, advisers, and chaperones first participated in a motivational session led by the Georgia FBLA State Executive Council and keynote speaker Patty Hendrickson. Mrs. Hendrickson motivated our members to get back on track in the new school year. Afterwards, members enjoyed lunch in the park, participated in Open Testing events, and spent the afternoon on the exhilarating rides at the amusement park. Several of the members rode each and every roller coaster at Six Flags. Members were accompanied by FBLA Advisers Brenda Deal and Shayla Donaldson, counselor Tammie Lanier, and principal Ellis Strobridge.
