Rockmart Middle School and Rockmart High School hosted Run at the Rock 5K Fun Run/Walk on May 20, 2017 to benefit the March of Dimes. The event was planned over a three month period and involved over 16 business sponsors and 70 participants. Run at the Rock was held on the campus of Rockmart Middle and High School. The event was organized by RHS March of Dimes Chairpersons Montana Barber and LJ Pace. This event raise awareness of the March of Dimes in each of the schools and in the Polk County area. Over $1000.00 was raised to donate to the March of Dimes.
