Students from Swainsboro High School FBLA chapter hosted a blood drive on September 4 to benefit the Shepeard Blood Center in Augusta. The group produced 87 students, faculty, and community members pledging to give blood. The center gained 63 usable units and the activity created community awareness for the need of blood donation.
“We were able to educate SHS students on the advantages of giving blood while making a strong contribution to our area,” said SHS FBLA President. “It was a rewarding experience for our school and our FBLA chapter.”
