Swainsboro High School FBLA officers and members had the opportunity to meet U. S. Congressman Rick Allen of the 12th District of Georgia on Tuesday, September 1. SHS FBLA was asked by the Emanuel County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee to serve as hosts for their Annual Farm Bureau Legislative meeting held at the Emanuel County Farm Bureau Social Hall. Congressman Allen was on hand to discuss legislative issues that might affect Georgia’s 12th District in the coming months. FBLA members were able to speak with Congressman Allen about issues that they are concerned about as young Americans.
