The Swainsboro High School Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America went to George L. Smith State Park to reward members for their participation throughout the 2015-2016 school year. The students enjoyed playing several games such as Corn Hole, Spike Ball, and Soccer. SHS FBLA also rented kayaks and toured the 412 acre Watson Mill Pond. Members enjoyed a lunch of pizza, watermelon, and desserts. Esmeralda added, “This was a fun experience, and we learned a lot about teamwork and helping others. I hope that students become more active within this organization with this incentive.”
Future Business Leaders of America is the premiere student organization for high school students that are interested in careers in business. SHS FBLA has 125 local members that participate in a variety of leadership, community service, and competitive event activities.
