Berrien High School Takes a Stand for Breast Cancer Awareness

By Shelby, webmaster

The first week of October featured Berrien High School’s participation in breast cancer awareness. In October, we honored our very own Mrs. Michelle Scurry, who was diagnosed recently with the illness.

FBLA officers and dedicated members worked in the office to decorate Mrs. Scurry’s work space in pink. FBLA hosted a table during lunch that sold awareness-themed merchandise, such as lollipops, necklaces, bracelets, and charms, in honor of Mrs. Scurry. We also offered face paintings to show our spirit during that Friday football game.

In the commons area, Mrs. Scurry was honored by our FBLA president, Hanna, and members with a bouquet and banner. We took this occasion to show love for our chapter, staff, and community.
