Our first Monthly Recruitment Idea is open house’s and club fairs. Both of these events are amazing opportunities to recruit new members of all grade levels. Setting up an eye-catching booth is a great way to attract prospective members. A booth, run by chapter officers, advisers, or members, allows you to talk one-on-one with students and explain the benefits of joining FBLA.
Another recruitment tactic to incorporate at your open house or club fair booth is providing snacks and giveaway opportunities. Also, having membership forms ready to go allows students to fill them out and get their dues paid quickly.
Setting up a booth may not work for all schools, so don’t be afraid to walk around passing out flyers and membership forms. The main focus is to inform students of what FBLA is and it has to offer. Good luck to all chapters recruiting members this year!
