September 1-CTSO Training

At the end of August, the 2020-2021 Bleckley Officers attended the first annual Bleckley Royal Leadership Academy, located at the FFA-FCCLA center in Covington. Here the officers spoke with two special guest speakers, Dr. Steve Smith, the school superintendent, and Mr. Danny Mathis, District 144 House Representative. Both offered information about the importance of good leadership. In addition, Mrs. Laura Knox helped us get to know our leadership skills and gave us tips on how we can work together as a team and be more efficient. Overall, the officer team had a great bonding experience and look forward to the year ahead.

September 2-Monthly Meeting

The September Monthly Meeting was a huge success. The officer team took the opportunity to bond with the members and discuss important information with the members for the upcoming year. The theme of the meeting was an Ice Cream Social, abiding by COVID standards, of course. The members were able to enjoy a variety of ice cream flavors with plenty of toppings. We look forward to the October meeting with high hopes.
