Apalachee hosted guest speaker Mike Shelley, who is a radio host in Toccoa, GA, entrepreneur, as well as serving on the Board of Education in Barrow County. His speech was entitled “You are an amazing person, so you can do amazing things”. Once he was finished, students made Thanksgiving greeting cards for a local senior citizen home. The cards were delivered two days before Thanksgiving and the seniors loved them!
