BAA Activity of the Week #10

The feeling of benevolence and generosity in a student increases as Thanksgiving nears. Your members can channel that feeling into a good cause by helping the chapter successfully complete its November community service project! This activity is Activity #5 under the Service category of the Business Level BAA.

Community service and school service are great ways to get your chapter involved in both your community and your school. Participating in these activities not only helps publicize your chapter, but it also helps you create new connections and network with community leaders. These new connections can potentially be useful to your chapter, whether it be planning chapter meetings or preparing for competitive events! Also, service teaches students to be generous and benevolent by allowing them to experience what it means to give back to the community and to make a difference.

The more students that participate or support the project, the more successful the project will be. Since November is the month for giving thanks, persuade your friends and fellow members to also pitch in and serve the community! The more your chapter can give back to the community, the more your members will understand the importance of giving back.
