Technologies are rapidly changing our lives for the better. They connect our world in new ways, they make our lives easier, and they allow us to discover new phenomena. New products are released every day, making it hard for any student to keep up with all the new features and devices. With Christmas fast approaching, anyone will want to have an idea of what technologies will be popular gifts!
Activity # 20 under the Education category of the Business Level can help you prepare for the gift-giving season! It is also a relatively easy activity that will take no more than one hour to complete. The student will have to read an article on a new trend in technology and then write a 250 word report on what he or she learned. Places to find articles on all the new trends in technology are the web, magazines, and newspaper articles. Students can have fun with this activity because there are no restrictions on what technology they have to research. However, whatever article the student chooses, it must provide enough information for the student to write a report on it.
When writing the report, consult the FBLA Official Format Guide for instructions on formatting your report. In order to receive full credit, the student must ensure his submission is formatted correctly.
