Although the student may still be working on the E-Portfolio activity from November, if he or she does not begin working on the remaining activities starting in December, they may not meet the submission deadline! The America level can be difficult and frustrating, but remember that time management is the key to completing this level! Therefore, the student may need to start simultaneously working on multiple activities.
A quick, easy activity to layer on the workload is Activity #7 under the Education category of the America level. The student does not have to complete this activity alone and can gather a committee to complete this activity. The student(s) will have to sponsor an environmental slogan contest and an environmental project of choice at the school. With Christmas season around the corner, recycling Christmas trees is a great project to perform!
Be sure to take pictures of the students in action. As with all activities in the America level, the student will have to write a report on his or her experience during the project. Consult the FBLA Official Format Guide to properly format the report in order to receive full credit!
