During the beginning of January, schools across Georgia will be observing Christmas Break. Just because there is no school does not mean that the student cannot complete a BAA activity! The Business Achievement Awards can be accessed online at home on http://www.fblapbl.org/baa3/! To help prepare the chapters’ members for the second semester, there is an easy activity the member can complete to help excite students for the upcoming year!
An easy task to complete at home is Activity #23 under the Progress category of the Future Level. This activity requires four things: the student, their cellphone, their friends’ numbers, and a couch! The student will be required to text five of their friends and invite them to the next FBLA Chapter meeting. There is a catch: the student should send messages only to those friends who are not currently FBLA members! Thus, by completing this activity, the student can help boost membership and interest within their local FBLA chapter!
In order to receive credit for this activity, the student must document the names of the five friends they text and also the message they send to each of those friends.
