Allyson B. competed in Spreadsheet Applications at Region and State FBLA competition this year. Allyson is a Junior at BCHS and is headed to National competition in Baltimore Maryland in June. Spreadsheet Application competition is comprised of two parts. Allyson is scored on a timed skills test where she actually manipulates data in spreadsheets that she creates by guidelines. She then takes an objective test which asks questions about different aspects of spreadsheets, how to complete tasks, and the like. The combined scores are then tabulated and ranked to determine the winner. Allyson placed 1st in both region and state this year and is headed to Baltimore in June to compete at Nationals.
