A big shout-out goes to Lorie Teal and the BES students for providing scarecrows for our downtown decorations. Check out the decorations in Heritage Park, Freedom Park, and at the main intersection in town. Thank you to Laura Edwards and the FBLA students for volunteering to help decorate. Rainwater Funeral Home was kind enough to donate mums, which were purchased from the Bowdon FFA students. Matt provided hay bales and pumpkins. Mayor Crawford provided “Uncle Roy-” the old farmer scarecrow that we use every year. As always, a big thank you goes to Carolyn, Kellie, Wayne, Faith, and Brandi for helping decorate.
