To integrate FBLA in your classrooms this month, have your students learn about budgeting, finance, and business plans by creating their own business. Give your students a budget of $1 million dollars to create their own business; they must decide what type of business they would start, what are its goals, what are its products or service, what they would charge their products or services, and what their theoretical profit would be. Then students will need to spend their $1 million to set up their business recording what they would purchase as a budget. The goal is to make this classroom integration idea realistic, so students can learn more about the different aspects of starting and running a business.
