Douglas County High School FBLA members volunteered to serve as staff for the Gordon Food Service annual meeting. FBLA members were invited to the local business’ location the before the event date for training, a facilities tour, and lunch. During the training event coordinators explained the importance of the annual meeting. The meeting is a celebration of the years accomplishments. It is held at the Marriott Marque in downtown Atlanta.
FBLA members served as greeters, worked the registration desk, and assisted employees in the Gordon Gear Store on the day of the event. This was a great opportunity for our members to interact with business leaders and provided a valuable service. Gordon Food Service is a local, family owned business that provides food products to restaurants, schools, and other businesses nationwide.
