Monroe Area FBLA met October 29, 2015 for its October Community Service meeting. Seven years ago, Monroe Area Future Business Leaders of America adopted the mile in front of the high school and board of education building on Double Springs Church Road as a part of the Keep Walton Beautiful program. Twenty-two members met, put on their gloves, and collected trash along both sides of the street as a part of their community service project; following their normal business meeting. Members enjoyed refreshments of pizza and cookies upon completion of the community service.
