Meeting Activity of the Month

FBLA chapters across the state have so many amazing different events and activities focused on community service, membership recruitment, advocacy, and so much more, but for most chapters have one thing in common: chapter meetings.

At the local level, chapters usually hold meeting on a weekly or monthly basis at different times through the day, and as the school year continues, it may be harder to keep up member engagement.

Students may not want to brave an early morning meeting, or stay late after school, so chapters may need to get creative in how they run and promote meetings.

One thing we know about FBLA members, it is that they LOVE food. For your chapter meetings, see if one of your officers or adviser could bring in various food items such as cookies, donuts, or bagels. It’s a great way to incentivize your members to attend meetings!

Georgia FBLA wants to see how awesome your chapter meet g are so be sure to post pictures on your social media accounts using the #GAFBLA!
